This model also uses optional heads A and C.

The Boggs Tacklemaker / Tackle Maker - 01824

Is made for trout and small wire lures.
Standard base with A-head for use with .018" - .022" wire.
No optional heads can be used with this model.

The Boggs Tacklemaker / Tackle Maker - 03240

Is made for salmon trolling lures, spreaders and spinnerbaits.
Standard base with C-head for use with .032-.040" wire.
This model also uses optional heads B and D.

The Boggs Tacklemaker / Tackle Maker

is a bench or table mounted tool for the home hobbyist or manufacturer. The base is Nylotron (a fiberglass and nylon combination).
The working parts are machined out of tool steel, case hardened, and plated.
